Dr. Craig P. Georgiades, DMD, Sarasota Dentist

Background and Credentials

I was born and raised in Sarasota and graduated from Riverview High School. After receiving my BS from Florida State University, I attended and received my DMD degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1992. Subsequently, I completed an AEGD residency from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

In 2008, I earned my Fellowship (FAGD) in the Academy of General Dentistry. Amanda (from Nashville,Tennessee) and I were married in 2004. We have two wonderful children (Meiyin and Shawn).

Our History

The practice was established by Richard Georgiades in 1960 at the corner of US 41 and Stickney Point Road. After 8 years, he built an office at the corner of Swift Road and Stickney Point before moving to the present location in 1992. Dr. Craig joined his father's practice in 1995 and they worked together until Richard's retirement in 2018, having practiced for over 55 years.
